Bringing awareness to PMADS and the impact it has, not only on the person experiencing it, but also on all of those around them, is a crucial step in breaking down the barriers to accessing support. Finding a counsellor who is trained in perinatal mental health is essential as they will have additional training, knowledge, and skill to best support you. If you or someone you know is struggling with the symptoms below and is pregnant, or recently given birth there is support and services out there to help.
